African polyrhythms with Celtic harp and indiepop influences

TRILOBITA is primarily a percussionist group, deeply rooted in the arrangement of traditional African polyrhythms through contaminations of Occitan and folk music. Percussion is joined by other instruments such as Celtic harp, accordion and violin to create original and at times hypnotic atmospheres. Trilobita’s live performances are almost always accompanied by dancers whose African-inspired choreography is mixed with jazz and funk influences.
